ADA, WCAG, 508 Compliance Tester

This is a long term contract opportunity, possibly extending 1+ years for ADA Web Accessibility tester.

​

Job Duties

​

  • This candidate will work as a lead tester and will be primarily responsible for ADA, WCAG, 508 Compliance testing for client Application.

  • Testing shall be conducted according to Web Content Accessibility Guideline (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA Standards and requirements of Section 508 (29 U.S.C §794d).

  • Develop detailed test plan of the web accessibility testing with the project manager.

  • Identify and document all non-compliance issues.

  • Develop documentation to remediate the non-compliance issues.

  • Conduct training and knowledge transfer to client at the end of contract. 

 

Mandatory Qualifications

​

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as QA/QC tester.

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Accessibility testing and knowledge of toolset.

  • Experience conducting accessibility testing on multiple platforms and devices: iOS, Windows and Android mobile devices.

  • Expert level knowledge on WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 Guidelines, Success Criteria Level AA .

  • Expert level knowledge of HTML accessibility techniques including JavaScript, AJAX, and ARIA.

Desirable Qualifications

​​

  • 1+ years’ experience with a State of California.

  • 1+ years’ experience in training internal Technical Staff.

  • 3+ years’ experience of creating Test plan

Mid-Senior Java Developer

Job Id: 2019X0001

 

 

Mid to Senior level Java front end developer required for a long term contract position. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.

  • Design & Develop complex multi-tier distributed software applications

  • Collaborate and interact with customer/requirements team to validate requirements.

  • Provide mentoring to less experienced developers

  • Works with technical lead and project manager to establish strategies & project plan.

 

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional web application development using Java (Struts, JSF, HTML, CSS)

  • 5+ years of enterprise level development using JEE or related technologies (JPA, EJB3, Hibernate)

  • 5+ years of OO design and programming experience

  • 3 years of relational database experience

  • 2+ years of JSF front end development using Primefaces.

  • 2+ years of experience with web services and XML processing.

 

Must Have Skills

  • Solid understanding and experience in JSF is must. Experience with Primefaces is an added bonus.

  • Solid understanding and experience with JPA is must. Experience with EclipseLink is an added bonus.
